Objective: To analyze the level of psychological well-being in patients with musculoskeletal pain at the Domenack pain therapy center, during 2023. Materials and Methods: The research approach was quantitative, with a population of 100 patients with musculoskeletal pain at the Domenack pain therapy center. The sample consisted of 80 patients with musculoskeletal pain, and the sampling method was probabilistic, using simple random sampling according to selection criteria. Results: The age distribution mostly consisted of patients between 31 and 35 years old, making up 43.75% of the sample. The second most frequent group was 26 to 30 years old, with 35%. The third group was 36 to 40 years old, with 21.25%. The sample had a slight majority of male patients at 52.5%, while 47.5% were female. The majority of the sample were workers (60%), followed by students (25%), and those without occupation (13.75%). Only 1.25% of the sample was retired. Patients showed a medium level of psychological well-being, at 42.5%, followed by a low level of psychological well-being at 31.25%. Conclusions: The age distribution showed the majority of patients were between 31 and 35 years old. The sample had a slight majority of male patients, with most being workers. According to the distribution of marital status, most were living with a partner.
Resumen
Objetivo: Analizar el nivel del bienestar psicológico en pacientes con dolores musculoesqueléticos del centro de terapia del dolor Domenack, periodo 2023. Materiales y Métodos: El enfoque de la investigación fue Cuantitativa, la población estuvo conformada por 100 pacientes con dolores musculoesqueléticos del centro de terapia del dolor Domenack. La muestra estará conformada por 80 pacientes con dolores musculoesqueléticos, el tipo de muestreo será probabilístico de tipo aleatorio simple de acuerdo a los criterios de selección. Resultados: La distribución por grupo etario está conformado en su mayoría por pacientes entre 31 a 35 años con un 43.75% de la muestra. El segundo grupo más frecuente es el de 26 a 30 años con un 35%. El 21.25% pertenece al grupo de entre 36 a 40 años. La muestra está representada por una ligera mayoría el género masculino con un 52.5%, mientras que el 47.5% está conformado por personas del género masculino. Se aprecia que la mayoría pertenece al grupo trabajador con un 60%. En segundo lugar, se encuentran los estudiantes con un 25%. En tercer lugar, se ubican aquellos que no tienen ocupación con un 13.75%. Finalmente, solo el 1.25% de la muestra está en situación de retiro. los pacientes de la muestra presentan un nivel medio de bienestar psicológico con un 42.5%. En segundo lugar, se encuentran aquellos con un nivel bajo de bienestar psicológico con un 31.25%. Conclusiones: La distribución por grupo etario está conformada en su mayoría por pacientes entre 31 a 35 años, la muestra está representada por una ligera mayoría el género masculino, la distribución ocupación de la muestra, se aprecia que la mayoría pertenece al grupo trabajador y según la distribución estado civil de la muestra. La mayoría se encuentra en situación de convivencia.
