Family functionality and adherence to medication in users of the addictions service, community mental health center – Nuevo Chimbote, 2022

Abstract

The present study was developed in the first level of health care; whose objective is to determine the perception of each of the components or dimensions of family functionality: Adaptability, cooperation or participation, growth or development, affectivity and problemsolving capacity in the users of the Addictions service of the Nuevo Puerto Community Mental Health Center “– New Chimbote 2022. Material and Method: The study is descriptive, to detail the family functionality found in patients and Quantitative because a numerical value is assigned to the data obtained from, he Family Apgar test. The design is Non-Experimental because it is based on observation as the phenomenon occurs and Crosssectional because data is collected in a single moment and unique time. The population involved is made up of 70 users of the Addictions Service of the Nuevo Puerto Community Mental Health Center in Nuevo Chimbote. The technique was the instrument to evaluate family functionality, for which the family APGAR designed by Dr. Smilkstein was used. And the Moriski scale to assess medication adherence.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación existente entre la funcionalidad familiar con la adherencia a la medicación en usuarios del servicio de Adicciones. Material y método: Este modelo de investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicado, diseño no experimental , correlacional , La investigación responde, de esto se obtuvo una muestra de 70, se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento es el Apgar familiar y el test de Moriski Green, En el presente estudio se utilizará una encuesta para medir la funcionalidad familiar y la adhesión a los medicamentos que serán aplicados a los usuarios del servicio de adicciones. El test de APGAR en su reporte original de confiabilidad en inglés mostró una adecuada consistencia interna (Alfa de Cronbach=0,86). El cuestionario de Morisky Green-Levine que mide la adherencia tratamiento, tuvo una consistencia interna con alfa de Cronbach de 0,646
