Role of the family caregiver and adherence to patient treatment of the addiction service of a community mental health center, Lima 2023

Abstract

This research aims to: Determine the relationship that exists between the role of the family caregiver and the patient's adherence to treatment in the addictions service of a community mental health center in Lima. The methodology: hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive, applied, correlational, cross-sectional, to measure the relationship of both variables, Pearson's correlation will be used; The sample will consist of 80 users and family members, the instruments that will be used for the research work will be the role of the family caregiver questionnaire that will measure the variable of the same name of the questionnaire and the treatment adherence questionnaire, which are validated; Both instruments have a high level of statistical reliability (0.83 in Cronbach's alpha). Data collection will take approximately 30 minutes for each participant. Tables and graphs will be used for analysis and interpretation.

Esta investigación tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relaciona que existe entre el rol del cuidador familiar y la adherencia al tratamiento de paciente del servicio de adicciones de un centro de salud mental comunitario de Lima. La metodología: metodo hipotetico deductivo, diseño no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, aplicada, correlacional, de corte transversal, para la medir la relación de ambas variables se utilizara correlación de Pearson; la muestra estará constituida por 80 usuarios y familiares, los instrumentos que se usaran para el trabajo de investigación serán El cuestionario rol del cuidador familiar que medirá la variable del mismo nombre del cuestionario y el cuestionario de adherencia al tratamiento, los cuales se encuentran validados; ambos instrumentos tienen un alto nivel de confiabilidad (de 0.83 en el alfa de Cronbach) estadística, para la recolección de la información se tendrá una duración aproximada de 30 minutos, para cada participante, para el análisis e interpretación se harán uso de tablas, gráficos.
