Counseling on cervical cancer and its relationship with the practice of preventive measures in women who attend a health center, Huacho 2023

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the effectiveness of nursing counseling versus preventive measures for cervical cancer in women who attend the Huaura health center. Methodology: The research method is hypothetical deductive, with a qualitative approach of the applied type, with a non-experimental correlational design and cross section. Population, sample and sampling: it will be made up of a total finite population of 80 patients, likewise the type of sample is probabilistic. A questionnaire will be used for both variables and the data processing will be carried out in the SPSS program, using Spearman's correlation, since it is the adequate coefficient for qualitative variables, for which a change of scale to numbers will be made to be able to evaluate in the program the relationship between the variables.

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la relación existente entre la efectividad de la consejería de enfermería frente a las medidas preventivas del cáncer de cérvix en mujeres que acuden al centro de salud Huaura. Metodología: El método de investigación es hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cualitativo de tipo aplicada, con diseño correlacional no experimental y corte transversal. Población, muestra y muestreo: estará conformado por una población finita total de 80 pacientes así mismo el tipo de muestra es probabilístico. Se empleará un cuestionario para ambas variables y el procesamiento de datos se realizará en el programa SPSS, empleando la correlación de Spearman, puesto que es el coeficiente adecuado para variables cualitativas, para lo cual se realizará un cambio de escala a números para poder evaluar en el programa la relación entre las variables.
