Sociodemographic factors related to knowledge about handwashing in mothers who attend the CRED service at the Mariscal Castilla health center, Rímac - 2019

Abstract

Objective: of the study was to determine the sociodemographic factors related to knowledge about handwashing in mothers who attend the CRED service at the Mariscal Castilla Health Center. The approach and design was quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive-correlational. Population: they were mothers seen at the Growth and Development Clinic of the Mariscal Castilla Health Center in the second half of 2019, with a total of 575 cases. The sample was 231, selected by systematic random sampling, and the technique was the survey, the instrument used was a questionnaire developed by ourselves for sociodemographic factors and a questionnaire validated in the national context for knowledge about handwashing.

Objetivo: del estudio fue determinar los factores sociodemográficos relacionados al conocimiento sobre lavado de manos en madres que acuden al servicio de CRED en el Centro de Salud Mariscal Castilla.El enfoque y diseño fue Cuantitativo. No experimental, descriptivo-correlacional su Población: fueron de madres atendidas en el Consultorio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del Centro de Salud Mariscal Castilla en el segundo semestre del año 2019, siendo el total de casos de 575. Para la muestra fueron 231, seleccionados mediante muestreo aleatorio sistemático, y la técnica fue la encuesta, el instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario elaboración propia para factores sociodemográficos y un cuestionario validado en el contexto nacional para conocimientos sobre lavado de manos.
