Level of knowledge about biosafety measures of the nursing staff working in the emergency service of the EsSalud hospital - Huacho 2021

Abstract

Objective: Determine the level of knowledge about biosafety measures of the nursing staff who work in the emergency service of the Essalud Hospital – Huacho - 2021.” Methodology: A study with a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach will be carried out. Population: The population will consist of 35 nursing professionals who work in the emergency service. Data collection techniques and instruments: The technique to be used will be the survey. The instrument will be a questionnaire designed to measure the level of knowledge about biosafety measures of nursing staff working in the emergency service. Procedures: The collection of said information will be obtained at the Essalud Huacho hospital with the personnel who work in the emergency area, which will be executed in August 2021. Validation: The instrument as such was subjected to an expert judgment test with a qualitative scale that responds to the level of good, therefore, it is considered applicable to research. Reliability: To determine the degree of reliability of the instrument and “Determine the level of knowledge about biosafety measures,” the Kuder Richardson Coefficient (KR20) was used, with a result of 0.96, which means that the reliability of the instrument is acceptable.

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre las medidas de bioseguridad del personal de enfermería que labora en el servicio de emergencia del Hospital Essalud – Huacho - 2021”. Metodología: Se realizará un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, de corte transversal. Población: La población estará constituida por 35 profesionales de enfermería que trabajan en el servicio de emergencia. Técnicas e Instrumentos de recolección de datos: La técnica a utilizar será la encuesta. El instrumento será un cuestionario destinado a medir el nivel de conocimiento sobre las medidas de bioseguridad del personal de enfermería que labora en el servicio de emergencia. Procedimientos: La recopilación de dicha información se obtendrá en el hospital Essalud huacho con el personal que labora en el área de emergencia, el cual será ejecutado en agosto 2021. Validación: El instrumento como tal se sometió a una prueba de juicio de expertos con una escala cualitativa que responde al nivel de bueno, por lo tanto, se considera aplicable a la investigación. Confiabilidad: Para determinar el grado de confiabilidad del instrumento y “Determinar el nivel de conocimientos sobre las medidas de bioseguridad” se usó el Coeficiente Kuder Richardson (KR20), siendo su resultado 0.96, lo cual significa que la confiabilidad del instrumento es aceptable.
