Knowledge in the prevention of pressure injuries and practices in the nursing professional, intensive care unit of a hospital in Lima 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine how knowledge is related to the prevention of pressure injuries and practices in the nursing professional, intensive care unit of a hospital in Lima, 2023. Methodology: It is quantitative research, with an applied type, it is based on correlation levels, it is non-experimental with a cross-sectional design, it has a sample of 89 nurses using two instruments, the first will be the Pressure Injury Prevention Knowledge Survey. and Practical Observation Guide for the Prevention of Pressure Injuries. Data processing will then continue using IBM SPSS version 26.0 to produce tables and graphs for descriptive analysis and the degree of association between the variables being processed.

Objetivo: Determinar cómo se relacionan los conocimientos en la prevención de lesiones por presión y prácticas en el profesional de enfermería, unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital de Lima, 2023.Metodología: Es una investigación cuantitativa, con tipo aplicada, se sustenta en niveles de correlación, es de tipo no experimental con un diseño transversal, tiene una muestra de 89 enfermeras utilizando dos instrumentos, el primero será el Conocimiento de Prevención de Lesiones por Presión Encuesta y Guía de Observación Práctica para la Prevención de Lesiones por Presión. Luego, el procesamiento de datos continuará utilizando IBM SPSS versión 26.0 para producir tablas y gráficos para el análisis descriptivo y el grado de asociación entre las variables que se procesan.
