Work stress and quality of professional life in nurses at the surgical center of the central hospital of the national police of Peru, 2022

Abstract

Determine the relationship between work stress and professional quality of life in surgical center nurses. Methodology. The study in terms of its approach will be quantitative, applied, and non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational in design. Regarding the representative sample of the study, it will be made up of 76 nursing professionals who provide purely healthcare services in the surgical center service of the Hospital of the National Police of Peru, which have been obtained in accordance with the application of the formula of the probabilistic sample, and those that will strictly comply with the established exclusion and inclusion criteria. Regarding the data collection technique, the survey will be applied, executed in a single moment, using the instruments called Maslach Scale and Quality of Professional Life Scale (CPV -38), for the variable work stress and quality of professional life. respectively. Regarding the processing of the data obtained, it will be carried out using the Microsoft Excel version 9 program for classification, organization and respective quality control; It will subsequently be exported to SPSS version 24.0 software to execute the corresponding statistical calculations, and thus develop tables and graphs for the analysis of the explored variables.

Determinar la relación entre el estrés laboral y la calidad de vida profesional en enfermeros de centro quirúrgico. Metodología. El estudio en cuanto a su enfoque será cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, y de diseño no experimental, descriptivo, y correlacional. En lo que corresponde a la muestra representativa del estudio estará integrada por 76 profesionales enfermeros que prestan servicio netamente asistencial en el servicio de centro quirúrgico del Hospital de la Policía Nacional del Perú, los que han sido obtenidos de acuerdo con la aplicación de la fórmula de la muestra probabilística, y los que cumplirán estrictamente con los criterios de exclusión e inclusión establecidos. En cuanto a la técnica de relevamiento de data se aplicará la encuesta, ejecutada en un solo momento, mediante los instrumentos denominados Escala de Maslach y Escala de Calidad de Vida Profesional (CPV -38), para la variable estrés laboral y calidad de vida profesional respectivamente. Respecto del tratamiento de la data obtenida se efectuará mediante el programa Microsoft Excel versión 9 para su clasificación, organización y respectivo control de calidad; posteriormente se exportará al software SPSS versión 24.0 para ejecutar los cálculos estadísticos correspondientes, y así desarrollar tablas y gráficos para el análisis de las variables exploradas.
