Quality of nursing care and satisfaction of the postoperative surgical patient in a clinic in Lima, 2023

Abstract

The level of care or by the nurse in the postoperative period must be of quality, in order to achieve better success in the patient's recovery. That is why the present study aims to measure the level of association between the quality of care performed by the nurse and the satisfactory level of the patient with the postoperative surgical service. Methods: we will work with an applied methodology, under a quantitative approach, of non-experimental cross-sectional design, with the contribution of information from 90 surgical patients of the postoperative service through the use of two questionnaires. After its application it will be possible to collect data that will be coded and recorded in a data matrix which will receive a statistical treatment through the Spss 25.0 program, with a descriptive and inferential technique, the latter being through Spearman's Rho, which is a test that will corroborate the validity and veracity of the study hypotheses, with which to be able to provide the conclusions reached in the measurement of the study variables.

El nivel de los cuidados o por parte de la enfermera en el post operatorio tiene que ser de calidad, para poder lograr un mejor éxito en la recuperación del paciente. Es por ello que el presente estudio tiene el objetivo de medir el nivel de asociación entre la calidad de cuidado que realiza la enfermera y el nivel satisfactorio del paciente con el servicio quirúrgico postoperatorio. Métodos: se trabajará con una metodología aplicada, bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental de corte transversal, con el aporte de información de 90 pacientes quirúrgicos del servicio postoperatorio a través del uso de dos cuestionarios. Luego de su aplicación se podrá recolectar datos que serán codificados y registrados en un matriz de datos la cual recibirá un tratamiento estadístico mediante el programa Spss 25.0, con una técnica descriptiva e inferencial, siendo esta última a través del Rho de Spearman, la cual es una prueba que permitirá corroborar la validez y veracidad de las hipótesis de estudio, con lo cual poder brindar la conclusiones a las que se llegue en la medición de las variables de estudio.
