Work fatigue in nursing staff at San Juan de Lurigancho Solidarity Hospital, Lima - 2019

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of the research is to determine the presence of work fatigue in the nursing staff of the SJL Solidarity Hospital Lima 2019. Materials and methods: it is a quantitative study, descriptive and cross-sectional. The population consisted of 60 nursing personnel. The data collection instrument used was the participants' data questionnaire, subjective symptoms of work fatigue, which is made up of 30 items. Results: Regarding work fatigue of nursing staff, 42 (70%) of those surveyed presented fatigue and 18 (30%) of those surveyed did not present fatigue. The dimension that presents a higher percentage, 75% of those surveyed report that they do present general symptoms of fatigue and in a lower percentage, 47% of those surveyed report that they do not present mental fatigue. Conclusions: Work fatigue predominates in nursing staff if they present fatigue and much less do not present fatigue. Regarding the dimensions, the one that presents a higher percentage of fatigue is general symptoms of fatigue and the one that presents a lower percentage of fatigue is mental fatigue.

Objetivo: La finalidad de la investigación es poder determinar la presencia de fatiga laboral en el personal de enfermería del hospital de la solidaridad de SJL Lima 2019. Materiales y métodos: es un estudio cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. La población estuvo constituida por 60 personal de enfermería. El instrumento de recolección de datos utilizado fue el cuestionario de datos de los participantes, laborales síntomas subjetivos de fatiga laboral, el cual está conformado por 30 ítems. Resultados: En cuanto a la fatiga laboral del personal de enfermería el 42 (70%) de los encuestados presentan fatiga y el 18 (30%) de los encuestados no presenta fatiga. La dimensión que presenta un mayor porcentaje el 75% de los encuestados refiere que si presentan síntomas generales de fatiga y en un menor porcentaje el 47% de los encuestados refieren que no presentan fatiga mental. Conclusiones: La fatiga laboral predomínate en el personal de enfermería es si presenta fatiga y muy por debajo no presenta fatiga. En cuanto a las dimensiones, la que presenta un mayor porcentaje de fatiga es síntomas generales de fatiga y la que presenta un menor porcentaje de fatiga es fatiga mental.
