Quality of nursing care and user satisfaction in the emergency service of a hospital of the ministry of health of Lima – 2024

Abstract

The objective of this project is to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and user satisfaction in a hospital of the Health Ministry of Lima in the year 2024. Likewise, it comes to be a study that has adopted the quantitative approach based on the measurement of research variables, the type of research applied, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational level; the data collected will be analyzed using statistical tools that allow the quantification of variables through statistical tests appropriate to the study. This research will be developed to consider the actual performance of the nurses, based on information provided by the users of the health service received. Eighty patients from the emergency area will participate in this project, to whom two questionnaires will be applied that will allow the measurement of both variables. Finally, to establish the relationship between the study variables, Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient will be used.

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la calidad de atención de enfermería y la satisfacción del usuario de un hospital del Ministerio de Salud de Lima el año 2024. Asimismo, viene a ser un estudio que ha adoptado el enfoque cuantitativo basado en la medición de variables de investigación, el tipo de investigación aplicado, el diseño no experimental, el corte transversal y el nivel correlacional; los datos recabados serán analizados mediante herramientas estadísticas que permitan la cuantificación de variables mediante pruebas estadísticas adecuadas al estudio. Esta investigación se desarrollará teniendo en cuenta el desempeño real de las enfermeras, a partir de información proporcionada por los usuarios del servicio de salud recibido. En este proyecto participarán 80 pacientes del servicio de emergencias a quienes se les aplicarán dos cuestionarios que permitirán la medición de ambas variables. Finalmente, para establecer la relación entre las variables de estudio, se empleara el coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman.
