Perceptive feeding and anemia in children aged 2 to 5 years in a state hospital. Tarma-Peru, 2024

Abstract

The infant's eating process must have special attention, even more so when it happens during the illness, due to the pathophysiological changes that children with anemia face; a problem still unsolved in the world evidenced by the 42% who suffer from it. Objective: “To demonstrate the association between perceptive feeding and anemia in children from 2 to 5 years old in a State Hospital. Tarma-Peru, 2024”. Methodology: Hypothetical deductive method and correlational design, through a survey of the mother and/or caregiver and observation guide during the feeding process of the infant with a diagnosis of anemia. The instruments have a validity of 0.96 according to Aiken Validation and a Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.76 according to Richardson's KR. The results will be analyzed using SPSS V.26 Statistical Programs, they will be discussed and evidenced in tables and figures. Finally, conclusions and recommendations will be made.

El proceso alimentario del infante debe tener una atención especial, más aún cuando sucede durante la enfermedad, por los cambios fisiopatológicos que afrontan los niños con anemia; un problema aún no resuelto en el mundo evidenciado por el 42% que la padecen. Objetivo: “Demostrar la asociación entre alimentación perceptiva y anemia en niños (as) de 2 a 5 años en un Hospital Estatal. Tarma-Perú, 2024”. Metodología: Método hipotético deductivo y diseño correlacional, mediante encuesta a la madre y/o cuidador y guía de observación durante el proceso de alimentación al infante con diagnóstico de anemia. Los instrumentos tienen validez de 0.96 según Validación de Aiken y una confiabilidad de alfa de Cronbach de 0.76 según KR de Richardson. Los resultados serán analizados mediante Programas Estadísticos SPSS V.26, se discutirán y evidenciarán en tablas y figuras. Finalmente, se realizarán las conclusiones y recomendaciones.
