Mother's satisfaction with nursing care in a hospital in Lima, Lima, Peru 2020

Abstract

The present research work is to reveal the perception of mothers about the care provided to neonates by nursing staff and their participation in care as a learning to avoid neonatal deaths and contribute to the reduction of the high mortality rate. Its theoretical justification is because the bibliographic review will be updated regarding mothers' satisfaction with nursing care and the results will be relevant for future research. Its practical justification is because nursing care will be improved by identifying the level of satisfaction of the mothers since they are the ones indicated for its determination. Its methodological justification is that it is desired to find results to be distributed to health institutions, the scientific community, to seek to improve nursing care by being more humanized. Variable: Mothers' satisfaction with nursing care, the technique is the survey. The questionnaire type instrument that measures Mother's Satisfaction regarding Nursing care. According to the established schedule, the instrument will be applied in the Neonatology service. The duration of the application will be 20 minutes, with the researcher herself being in charge of the application. The data collection will be poured into a matrix table in the statistical software SPSS 24.0. The results will be presented in statistical tables or figures with their respective analysis, keeping in mind the background and theoretical bases. To measure the variable, the standard scale will be used, evaluating high, medium and low satisfaction. The results will be presented in frequency distribution tables and double entry. A letter of presentation will be requested from Norbert Wiener University, which will be taken to the Hospital to request the respective permit. Once permission is obtained, it will be coordinated with the hospital's teaching area and those in charge of the service to proceed to obtain data. This will be done following an established schedule.

El presente trabajo de investigación es dar a conocer la percepción de las madres sobre el cuidado brindado a los neonatos por parte del personal enfermero y su participación en el cuidado como aprendizaje para evitar muertes neonatales y contribuir a la disminución del elevado índice de mortalidad. Tiene como justificación teórica porque la revisión bibliográfica será actualizada respecto a la satisfacción de las madres sobre el cuidado enfermero y los resultados serán relevantes para futuros investigaciones. Tiene como justificación practica porque se realizará mejoramiento del cuidado enfermero identificando el nivel de satisfaccion de las madres puesto que ellas son las indicadas para su determinación. Tiene como justificación metodológica por que se desea hallar resultados para ser distribuidos a instituciones de salud, comunidad científica, buscar mejorar el cuidado del enfermero siendo más humanizado. Variable: Satisfacción de las madres sobre el cuidado enfermero, la técnica es la encuesta. El instrumento tipo cuestionario que mide Satisfacción de la Madre sobre el cuidado Enfermero Según el cronograma establecido se procederá a la aplicación del instrumento en el servicio de Neonatología. La duración de la aplicación será de 20 minutos, siendo la propia investigadora la encargada de la aplicación. La recaudación de los datos será vaciada a una tabla matriz en el software estadístico SPSS 24.0., se presentarán los resultados en cuadros o figuras estadísticos con su respectivo análisis teniendo presente los antecedentes y bases teóricas. Para medir la variable se utilizará la escala de estanones, valorándose en satisfacción alta, medio y baja. Los resultados serán presentados en cuadros de distribución de frecuencia y doble entrada, Se solicitará una carta de presentación a la Universidad Norbert Wiener, la cual será llevada al Hospital para solicitar el permiso respectivo. Una vez obtenido el permiso, se coordinará con Área de docencia del hospital y las encargadas del servicio para proceder a la obtención de datos. Ello se realizará previo cronograma establecido.
