Nursing care and level of satisfaction in post-operative patients in the post-anesthesia recovery unit of the José Agurto Tello National Hospital, Lima - 2021

Abstract

The level of satisfaction expressed by the user depends on the nursing care they receive during their hospitalization; this has a positive or negative impression on their recovery. Therefore, understanding whether patient expectations are being met has become an important health goal. The main objective seeks to resolve the link between nursing care and level of satisfaction in post-operative patients with regional anesthesia in the PACU (Post Anesthesia Recovery Unit) of the José Agurto Tello National Hospital, Lima – 2021. Quantitative, observational methods will be used. correlational and transversal level. The sample will be census-based, covering all post-operative patients during the period of October 2021. A survey will be used to collect the data. For “nursing care”, the CARE Q model survey will be used, which consists of 18 items in four dimensions, with 0.89 Cronbach's alpha reliability. For “patient satisfaction”, a survey with four dimensions will be used, it has a Kuder-Richardson reliability coefficient, obtaining 0.84; both instruments modified and validated by León C in 2020. The data will be statistically processed with the IBM SPSS 24.0 system.

El nivel de satisfacción que manifiesta el usuario depende del cuidado de enfermería que recibe durante su internación, este tiene una impresión positiva o negativa en su recuperación. Por lo tanto, comprender si se cumplen las expectativas del paciente se ha vuelto en un objetivo importante de salud. El objetivo principal busca resolver el vínculo entre el cuidado de enfermería y nivel de satisfacción en los pacientes postoperados con anestesia regional en URPA (Unidad de recuperación post anestésica) del Hospital Nacional José Agurto Tello, Lima – 2021. Se utilizará métodos cuantitativos, observacionales, de nivel correlacional y transversal. La muestra será censal abarcando a todos los pacientes post operados durante el periodo de octubre 2021. Para recaudar los datos se usará una encuesta. Para el “cuidado de enfermería “, se utilizará la encuesta del modelo CARE Q, que consta de 18 ítems en cuatro dimensiones, con 0,89 de confiabilidad de alfa de Cronbach. Para la “satisfacción del paciente“ se utilizará una encuesta con cuatro dimensiones, cuenta con un coeficiente de confiabilidad de Kuder-Richardson, obteniendo 0,84; ambos instrumentos modificado y validado por León C en el año 2020. Los datos serán procesados estadísticamente con el sistema IBM SPSS 24.0.
