Knowledge and attitude of nursing professionals about the kangaroo breastfeeding method in the neonatal intensive care unit of a level iv hospital in Callao – 2023

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of the nursing professional about the kangaroo breast method in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in a Level IV Hospital in Callao - 2023. Material and method: it is an investigation that It has a quantitative approach, type and likewise it has a non-experimental cross-sectional design, the sample that will be taken in the study is the entire population, which is 50 nursing professionals from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a Level IV Hospital in Callao - 2022. The data collection technique that will be used will be the survey and as instruments, two duly validated questionnaires with 0.98 and 0.87 of concordance, likewise they were subjected to a reliability test with the Kuder method - Richardson obtaining a Cronbach's alpha of 0.81 and 0.97, both with confirmed high reliability. A descriptive analysis will be applied to the results obtained, obtained from the tables and graphs, in this way to be able to explain the findings of the study of the variables.

Este estudio tiene por objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud del profesional de enfermería sobre el método mama canguro en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales en un Hospital Nivel IV del Callao – 2023. Material y método: es una investigación que tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional y así mismo tiene un diseño no experimental de corte transversal, la muestra que se tomara en el estudio es la totalidad de la población que son 50 profesionales de enfermería de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un Hospital Nivel IV del Callao – 2023. La técnica de recogida de datos que se utilizará será la encuesta y como instrumentos, dos cuestionarios debidamente validados con 0.98 y 0.87 de concordancia, asímismo fueron sometidos a una prueba de confiabilidad con el método Kuder – Richardson obteniendo un alfa de Cronbach de 0.81 y 0.97, ambos con una alta confiabilidad confirmada.A los resultados obtenidosse le aplicara un análisis descriptivo, obtenidos de los cuadros y gráficas, de esta manera poder explicar los hallazgos del estudio de las variables.
