Nursing care and surgical infections in postoperative patients of a national hospital, San Juan de Lurigancho

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between nursing care and surgical infections in patients of a national hospital, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2023. Population The universe of this study will consist of 90 surgical center nurses. Sample: the sample will be census since the entire population will be used, so the sample will be 90 nurses. Methodological Design: the method will be hypothetical – deductive, the quantitative approach, applied type, the experimental design, correlated scope and cross-section. Instruments: to measure the variable Nursing Care, the questionnaire modified by López in 2016 will be applied, reliable by means of KR-20 = 0.83. and to evaluate the variable: surgical infections in postoperative patients, an observation guide modified by García in 2017, reliable by KR-20=0.85, will be applied. Data processing and analysis: It will be done through the application of descriptive statistics that will present the results according to levels and the application of Spearman's Rho test to test the hypothesis of the study.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre los cuidados de enfermería y las infecciones quirúrgicas en pacientes de un hospital nacional, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2023. Población: El universo de este estudio lo constituirán 90 enfermeras de centro quirúrgico. Muestra: la muestra será censal ya que se utilizará la totalidad de la población por lo que la muestra será de 90 enfermeros. Diseño Metodológico: el método será hipotético – deductivo, el enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, el diseño experimental, de alcance correlacionar y de corte transversal. Instrumentos: para medir la variable Cuidados de Enfermería se aplicará el cuestionario modificado por López en el 2016, confiable mediante KR-20 = 0.83 y para evaluar la variable: infecciones quirúrgicas en pacientes postoperados, se aplicará una guía de observación modificado por García en el 2017, confiable mediante KR-20=0.85. Procesamiento y análisis de datos: Se realizará mediante la aplicación de la estadística descriptiva que presentará según niveles los resultados y la aplicación de la prueba Rho de Spearman para comprobar la hipótesis del estudio
