Associated factors and forms of organophosphate poisoning in patients of the emergency service, of a public hospital, Supe, 2022

Abstract

Introduction: In the district of Supe one of the main economic activities is agriculture and commerce, it is common to see patients with cholinergic symptoms and sometimes victims with altered sensorium or coma, it is common to observe a heterogeneity of factors, some not even described in the scientific literature; Aware of this reality and convinced of the importance and impact that the use and abuse of organophosphorus substances have on the health and well-being of individuals and their community, the research initiative arose to measure the factors associated with the form of organophosphorus intoxication in patients admitted to the emergency department of the hospital of Supe. Objective: To determine the associated factors and forms of organophosphorus poisoning in patients in the emergency department of a public hospital in Supe 2022. Methods: The study will be observational, descriptive, correlational and retrospective cross-sectional, a sample of 75 patients with organophosphorus poisoning in the emergency department of the Supe Hospital will be taken intentionally. The instrument used to measure the variables will be an observation form validated by a group of experts. Results: it is expected to reveal the problems observed in the study scenario and reaffirm the hypothesis put forward.

Introducción: En el distrito de Supe una de las principales actividades económicas es la agricultura y el comercio, es común el ingreso de pacientes con síntomas colinérgicos y ciertas veces con víctimas con alteración de sensorio o coma, es común observar una heterogeneidad de factores, algunas inclusive no descritas en la literatura científica; conscientes de esta realidad y convencidos de la importancia y el impacto que tienen el uso y abuso de sustancias organofosforadas en la salud y el bienestar de individuo y su comunidad, surge la iniciativa de investigación de medir los factores asociados a la forma de intoxicación por órganos fosforados en pacientes que ingresen al servicio de emergencia del hospital de supe. Objetivo: Determinar los factores asociados y formas de intoxicación por órganos fosforados en pacientes del servicio de emergencia de un hospital público de Supe 2022. Métodos: el estudio será observacional, descriptivo, correlacional y retrospectivo transversal, de forma intencional se tomará una muestra de 75 pacientes con intoxicación por órganos fosforados en el servicio de emergencia al Hospital de Supe. El instrumento que se usará para medir las variables será una ficha de observación validado por un grupo de expertos. Resultados: se espera que se revele la problemática observada en el escenario de estudio y reafirme la hipótesis planteada.
