Burnout syndrome and professional skills in the nursing staff of the growth and development service of the San Juan de Lurigancho hospital, Lima 2021

Abstract

Objective: To establish the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and professional competencies in the nursing staff of the Growth and Development Service at San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, Lima 2021. Methodology: The study will be quantitative, applied, and non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational in design. For this research, the entire population will be considered, consisting of 40 nurses from the Growth and Development Service at San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, Lima. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: A questionnaire to measure work stress (Maslach, 1981) and a questionnaire to measure professional competence (2018) will be used. The reliability of the Burnout Syndrome instrument is highly reliable, with a score of 0.894. The professional competencies instrument also demonstrates high reliability, with a score of 0.929. Procedures: The research will process the data through quantitative data analysis, with frequencies and percentages for the variables and dimensions. A hypothesis test will also be performed using the non-parametric Spearman's Rho test to measure the degree or strength of the relationship between the variables. Statistical Analysis: The study will process the data by identifying quantitative data, frequencies, and percentages for the variables and dimensions. The hypothesis will be tested using the non-parametric Spearman's Rho test.

"Objetivo:Establecer la relación del Síndrome de burnout y las competencias profesionales en el personal de enfermería del servicio de crecimiento y desarrollo del hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima 2021.Metodología: El estudio será de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, y de diseño no experimental, descriptivo, y correlacional. Para la presente investigación se tomará en cuenta a toda la población del estudio y consiste en 40 enfermeras que participarán del proyecto al personal de enfermería del servicio de crecimiento y desarrollo del hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima.Técnicas e Instrumentos de Recolección de Datos: Cuestionario para medir el estrés laboral de Maslach (1981) y Cuestionario para medir la competencia laboral (2018). en cuanto a la confiabilidad el síndrome de burnout es altamente confiable con una puntuación de 0,894 puntos. El resultado nos indica que el instrumento de competencias profesionales es altamente confiable con una puntuación de 0,929 puntos.Procedimientos:La investigación realizará el procesamiento de datos mediante el hallazgo de datos cuantitativos, con frecuencias y porcentajes de las variables y dimensiones. Así mismo se realizará la prueba de hipótesis mediante la prueba no paramétrica de Rho de Spearman para medir el grado o fuerza de la relación de las variables. Análisis Estadístico:La investigación realizará el procesamiento de datos mediante el hallazgo de datos cuantitativos, con frecuencias y porcentajes de las variables y dimensiones. Así mismo se realizará la prueba de hipótesis mediante la prueba no paramétrica de Rho de Spearman."
