Occupational risks and work performance in nurses of an Essalud hospital in Lima, 2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between occupational risks and work performance in nurses at an EsSalud hospital in Lima, 2022. Material and method: The research responds to the hypothetical-deductive method, has a quantitative approach, is basic, correlational-transverse design. The population that constitutes it makes a total of 132 nurses who work in said EsSalud hospital, from this a sample of 98 was obtained, the survey technique was used and the instrument to be used is the risk questionnaire. occupational and job performance, both questionnaires stand out for their psychometric properties, obtaining acceptable reliability and validity coefficients for our reality. The SPSS v26 program will be used to develop the data analysis. The statistical tools that will be used will be the procedures of absolute/relative frequencies, measures of central tendency, dispersion and the SUM function to evaluate the sociodemographic data and the final value of the main variables separately. Parametric or non-parametric hypothesis tests will then be applied depending on the distribution of the data that was collected. Finally, the findings will be organized into tables and figures, ready to be described and discussed.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre los riesgos ocupacionales y el desempeño laboral en enfermeros de un hospital de EsSalud de Lima, 2022. Material y método: La investigación responde al método hipotético-deductivo, tiene enfoque cuantitativo, es básica, diseño correlacional-transversal la población que lo constituye hacen un total de 132 enfermeros que laboran en dicho hospital EsSalud, de esto se obtuvo una muestra de 98, se utilizó la técnica de encuesta y el instrumento a utilizar es el cuestionario de riesgos ocupacionales y desempeño laboral, ambos cuestionarios se destaca por sus propiedades psicométricas, obteniendo coeficientes aceptables de confiabilidad y validez para nuestra realidad. Para el desarrollo del análisis de los datos se usará el programa SPSS v26. Las herramientas de la estadística que se utilizarán serán los procedimientos de frecuencias absolutas/relativas, medidas de tendencia central, de dispersión y la función SUMA para evaluar los datos sociodemográficos y el valor final de las variables principales por separado. Seguidamente se aplicarán las pruebas de hipótesis paramétricas o no paramétricas dependiendo de la distribución de los datos que fueron recopilados recolectados. Finalmente, los hallazgos se organizarán en tablas y figuras, quedando listos para ser descritos y discutidos.
