Abstract Objective: To determine the relationship between work-related stress and the quality of nursing care for patients in the emergency department of Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital, 2021. Material and method: This research is descriptive, correlational, and has a quantitative approach. The study population consists of 160 nurses from the emergency department of Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital. Data collection technique and instrument: Two questionnaires will be used, employing a Likert scale, with prior authorization and informed consent from the participants. Results: The data collected will be processed using SPSS version 26 to obtain arithmetic mean, frequency, and standard deviation according to the dimensions. The Stanine scale will then be applied to determine the level (low, medium, or high). To test the hypothesis, the Spearman correlation coefficient will be used, and cross-tabulation tables will be employed to determine the relationship between the variables, ultimately leading to a conclusion.
Resumen
Objetivo: determinar la relación entre el estrés laboral y la calidad del cuidado de enfermería en pacientes del servicio de emergencia del Hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen, 2021 Material y método de estudio: el presente trabajo de investigación será tipo descriptivo, diseño correlacional, de enfoque cuantitativo. la población del estudio está conformada por 160 enfermeras del servicio de emergencia del Hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen. Técnica e instrumento de recolección de datos: se utilizará 2 cuestionarios, escala de tipo Likert previa autorización y consentimiento informado de los participantes. Resultados: los resultados: los datos recolectados serán procesados en spp version26 para obtener media aritmética y frecuencia y desviación estándar de acuerdo a las dimensiones y luego se utilizará la escala de stanones para determinar el nivel medio, bajo o alto para constatar la hipótesis se utilizará el coeficiente de correlación de Sperman y para contrastar se utilizará tablas cruzada para determinar la relación que existen entre las variables y así obtener una conclusión.
