Work factors and relationship with occupational diseases in the nursing staff of a primary care center Lima, 2023

Abstract

This research has an Objective: Determine the relationship between works factors and occupational diseases in the nursing staff of a Primary Care Center in Lima. The methodology: hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive, applied, correlational, cross-sectional; the sample will consist of 33 nursing graduates, the instruments that will be used for the research work will be the questionnaire “Work Factors" which will measure the staff's perception of the work factors to which they are exposed and the “Occupational Diseases” checklist which is already validated; Both instruments have a high level of statistical reliability (0.88 in Cronbach's alpha). Information collection will take approximately 25 minutes for each participant. Tables and graphs will be used for analysis and interpretation. Likewise, to contrast the hypothesis, the Spearman Test will be used as statistical estimation, with a confidence level of 95%, and error of 5%.

Esta investigación tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre los factores laborales y las enfermedades ocupacionales en el personal de enfermería de un Centro de Atención Primaria de Lima. La metodología: Se llevará a cabo un estudio de investigación utilizando el método hipotético deductivo, con un diseño no experimental de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y aplicado, con un enfoque correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra constará de 33 licenciados de enfermería. Para la recopilación de datos, se utilizarán dos instrumentos validados: el cuestionario "Factores laborales", que evaluará la percepción del personal sobre los factores laborales a los que están expuestos, y la lista de cotejo "Enfermedades ocupacionales". Ambos instrumentos han demostrado tener un alto nivel de confiabilidad estadística, con un coeficiente alfa de Cronbach de 0,88. La duración estimada para la recolección de información será de aproximadamente 25 minutos por participante. Para el análisis e interpretación de los datos recopilados, se utilizarán tablas y gráficos. La prueba de Spearman se empleará como estimación estadística para la contrastación de la hipótesis, con un nivel de confianza del 95% y un margen de error del 5%.
