Physical capacity and exercise tolerance in the health personnel of the level II Hospital EsSalud Ilo, 2022

Abstract

Health sector workers are constantly engaged in activities throughout their workday, raising the question of how they respond to effort during hospital activities. Therefore, physical capacity will be measured using the Rufier Dickson test, and exercise tolerance will be assessed with the Cooper test. Subsequently, inferential statistical analysis will be used, employing hypothesis testing. The population for this study is 200 people, and a representative sample of 133 individuals will be selected through simple random sampling. The aim of this research is to determine how physical capacity is related to exercise tolerance in healthcare personnel.

Los trabajadores del sector salud se encuentran constantemente realizando actividades durante su jornada laboral, lo que nos lleva a preguntar cómo se encuentra su respuesta al esfuerzo en las actividades hospitalarias realizadas, por ello se medirá la capacidad física, mediante el test de Rufier Dickson y la tolerancia al ejercicio con el Test de Cooper, posteriormente se utilizará el análisis estadístico inferencial, utilizando como técnica la prueba de hipótesis, la población para este estudio es de 200 personas y mediante el muestreo aleatorio simple se obtendrá una muestra representativa de 133 individuos, el objetivo de la presente investigación es: Determinar como la capacidad física se relaciona con la tolerancia al ejercicio en el personal de Salud.
