Work overload of the nursing professional and performance in the emergency service, hospital, Essalud, Lima, 2022

Abstract

The objective of this project is to determine the relationship between the work overload of the nursing professional and their performance in the Emergency Service, Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen, Lima, 2022; It is also a study with a quantitative approach, a hypothetical/deductive method, a basic type of correlational descriptive level and a non-experimental cross-sectional design; We will work with a sample population of 80 nursing professionals from the Emergency Service, Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital, Lima, 2022, who will participate through two instruments: a 68-item questionnaire for the variable work overload and another with 30 items for the variable professional performance. The results will be collected through these instruments, then said information will be processed, coded and entered into a database designed in Excel, likewise the results will be analyzed and synthesized by the statistical software package version 25.0 SPSS, which will allow obtaining results both descriptive and inferential according to our objectives.

El presente proyecto tiene el objetivo de determinar qué relación existe entre la sobrecarga laboral del profesional de enfermería y su desempeño en el Servicio de Emergencias, Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen, Lima, 2022; asimismo es un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, de método hipotético/deductivo, de tipo básica de nivel descriptivo correlacional y un diseño no experimental de corte transversal; se trabajará con una población muestral de 80 profesionales de enfermería del Servicio de Emergencias, Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen, Lima, 2022, quienes participaran mediante dos instrumentos: un cuestionario de 68 ítems para la variable sobrecarga laboral y otro de 30 ítems para la variable desempeño profesional. Los resultados se recopilarán a través de estos instrumentos, luego dicha información se procesará, codificará e ingresará en una base de datos diseñada en Excel, asimismo los resultados serán analizados y sintetizados por el paquete de software estadístico versión 25.0 SPSS, lo cual permitirá obtener resultados tanto descriptivos como inferenciales según nuestros objetivos.
