Family functionality and lifestyles of adolescent students from an educational center in the Carabayllo district, 2024

Abstract

Introduction: throughout the history of humanity the family has been one of the most important elements for evolution, each group had different lifestyles that helped to survive or not, currently both the concept and the functions of this have presented various changes. Objective: Determine how family functionality and lifestyles of adolescent students are related. Methods: This is an applied, quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional study. The census sample will consist of 100 students aged between 15 and 17 who are in the pre-university stage. A survey will be used to administer two Likert-type questionnaires, which are validated and reliable for measuring the research variables. The collected data will be analyzed using SPSS 25.0 software to be distributed according to the variables and dimensions of the study, providing results in percentages, graphs, and tables that must be interpreted using the Spearman's Rho coefficient test to verify the correlation between the variables.

A lo largo de la historia de la humanidad la familia ha sido uno de los elementos más importante para la evolución, cada grupo tenía diferentes estilos de vida que ayudaban a sobrevivir o no, en la actualidad tanto el concepto como las funciones de esta ha presentado diversos cambios. Objetivo: Determinar cómo la funcionalidad familiar se relaciona en los estilos de vida de adolescentes estudiantes de un centro educativo de Carabayllo, 2023. Métodos: estudio de tipo aplicada, cuantitativo, correlacional y corte transversal. La muestra censal estará conformada por 100 estudiantes que están en el rango de edad (15-17) los cueles están en la etapa preuniversitaria. Se usará la encuesta para aplicar dos cuestionarios los cuales son de tipo Likert, están validados y con confiables para medir las variables de la investigación. Los datos recolectados serán aplicados en un programa SPSS 25.0 para ser distribuido según las variables y dimensiones de la pesquisa donde nos brindará resultados en porcentajes, gráficos y tablas el cual debe ser interpretado a través de la prueba del coeficiente Rho de Sperman para verificar la correlación de ambas variables.
