Dietary practices associated with iron deficiency anemia in infants from 6 to 24 months at the health center October 10 Lima - 2022.

Abstract

Objective: To determine the association between feeding practices and iron deficiency anemia in infants from 6 to 24 months at the 10 de Octubre Health Center, San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima, 2022. Material and method: The research responds to the hypothetical, deductive method, has a quantitative approach, is basic, descriptive, the population that constitutes it makes a total of 1,500 mothers who go to the 10 de Octubre Health Center, from this a sample of 307 was obtained, the survey technique and the questionnaire instrument were used for the first variable, as for the second variable, the documentary analysis technique and the data collection sheet instrument were used, which describes the presentation, instructions, sociodemographic characteristics and the questionnaire called "Fedating practices associated with iron deficiency anemia in infants from 6 to 24 months at the 10 de Octubre Health Center - Lima 2022", its content validity was made and it was submitted to expert judgment, reliability was found by applying the coefficient Cronbach's alpha reliability obtained a value of 0.75 which indicated high reliability. Data processing was done using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0.

Objetivo: Determinar la asociación entre prácticas alimentarias y anemia ferropénica en infantes de 6 a 24 meses en el Centro de Salud 10 de octubre San Juan de Lurigancho Lima 2022. Material y método: la investigación responde al método hipotético, deductivo, tiene enfoque cuantitativo, es básica, descriptiva, la población que lo constituye hace un total de 1500 madres de familia que acuden al C.S. 10 de octubre, de esto se obtuvo una muestra de 307, se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento cuestionario para la primera variable, en cuanto a la segunda variable se usó la técnica de análisis documental y el instrumento ficha de recolección de datos, la que describe la presentación, instrucciones, características sociodemográficas y el cuestionario denominado “Prácticas alimentarias asociadas a la anemia ferropénica en infantes de 6 a 24 meses en el Centro de Salud 10 de octubre - Lima 2022”, se hizo su validez de contenido y se sometió a juicio de expertos, se encontró confiabilidad aplicando el coeficiente de confiablidad alfa de crombach obteniendo un valor de 0,75 el que indicó alta confiabilidad. El procesamiento de datos se hizo haciendo uso del paquete estadístico para las ciencias sociales (SPSS) versión 22.0.
