Emotional intelligence and work overload of nursing in the intensive care unit in a hospital in Lima, 2023

Abstract

The nurses (os) that work in the different intensive units, are a staff that are subjected to different work situations and stress, which merit making decisions in an effective and assertive manner, therefore, the management of the same must to be through the management of emotional intelligence, which will allow the management of work overload, not to alter the timely, efficient and effective work development, for which the present investigation has as a general objective: to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and work overload in the intensive care unit of an institution in Lima 2021, and as a methodology it belongs to a quantitative research, it will be developed, through basic, non-experimental, cross-sectional, with a descriptive level, through the method hypothetical-deductive, the population under study will be fifty-two (52) who live in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Lim a, the sample will be used in its entirety. The technique will be the survey and the data collection instrument will be the questionnaire with 32 polychotomous questions, which will be processed through a Microsoft Excel 2013 matrix, with the use of descriptive statistics, with absolute and percentage frequency distribution. , to establish a relationship of variables by applying a Rho The Spearman The results will be presented with tables and graphs to later develop analysis and interpretation of the same, to finally develop the conclusions and recommendations of the study.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo general: analizar la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y la sobrecarga laboral en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de una institución de Lima 2023, y como metodología pertenece a una investigación cuantitativa, desarrollada, a través de básica, no experimental, transversal, con nivel descriptivo, a través del método hipotético-deductivo, la población en estudio será de (52) que hacen vida en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital de Lima, la muestra se utilizara en su totalidad. Como técnica será la encuesta y el instrumento de recolección de datos se utilizarán dos cuestionarios con preguntas politómicas y dicotómicas, los cuales serán procesados a través de una matriz Microsoft Excel 2013, con uso de la estadística descriptiva, distribución de frecuencias absoluta y porcentual, para establecer una relación de variables mediante la aplicación del Rho de Spearman. Los resultados serán presentados con tablas y gráficos para luego desarrollar análisis e interpretación del mismo, para finalmente desarrollar las conclusiones y recomendaciones del estudio
