Family satisfaction of the patients of the adult intensive care unit of the Daniel Alcides Carrion hospital.

Abstract

The approach of the study is quantitative, and the methodological design is a descriptive cross-sectional research. Taking into account non-probabilistic convenience sampling, and based on monthly patient frequency statistics from the service, it was determined that this research will consider a sample of 50 relatives of patients hospitalized in the ICU of the Hospital Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión during the periods of June, July, and August, who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria, respectively. The data collection technique will be the interview, and the data collection instrument will be the FS-ICU questionnaire, consisting of 24 items, which evaluates two dimensions: satisfaction with care and satisfaction with decision-making in the care of critically ill patients. Ethical aspects such as autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice will be considered.

El enfoque del estudio es cuantitativo y el diseño metodológico es una investigación de tipo descriptivo de corte transversal. Tomando en cuenta criterios no probabilísticos por conveniencia, y en base a estadísticas de frecuencia de pacientes en el servicio de manera mensual, se planteó que la presente investigación considere una muestra constituida por 50 parientes de usuarios hospitalizados en la UCI del Hospital Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión entre los periodos de junio, Julio y agosto, que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, respectivamente. la técnica de recolección de datos será la entrevista y el instrumento de recolección de datos será el cuestionario FS-ICU de 24 ítems el cual evalúa 2 dimensiones: Satisfacción con el cuidado y satisfacción con la toma de decisiones en el cuidado del paciente critico. Como aspectos éticos se considerará la autonomía, beneficencia, no maleficencia y la justicia.
