Abstract

Objective: To systematize the evidence related to the efficacy of weaning premature infants from an incubator to an open crib weighing more than 1600 grams and with a temperature greater than 36.5 ° C. Material and Methods: The type of study is quantitative, the review design is systematic. Of the 10 articles reviewed, 80% (n = 8/10) are randomized clinical trials and 20% (n = 2/10) are systematic reviews. According to the quality of the evidence, it was found to be high at 100%. According to the strength of recommendation, it is strong at 100%, according to the country where the research was conducted, the following correspond: Australia - New Zealand 20%, USA 70% and Italy 10%. Results: According to the review, it is evident that 100% of the articles (n = 10/10) indicate that weaning from an incubator to an open crib with a weight greater than 1600 grams and a temperature greater than 36.5 ° C is effective. Conclusion: It is concluded that the 10 scientific articles demonstrate the effectiveness of weaning premature infants from the incubator to an open crib with a weight greater than 1600 grams and a temperature greater than 36.4 ° C.
