Objective: To determine how knowledge is related to the preventive practices of pressure injuries of nursing professionals in the area of medical hospitalization. Methodology: We will work with a hypothetical-deductive method, with a cross-sectional, non-experimental design of a quantitative nature. Population: in this case, it will be made up of 48 nursing professionals belonging to the hospitalization area, to whom the survey and observation technique will be applied based on the use of a questionnaire and an observation guide. These instruments are validated and highly reliable. The instruments will allow the collection of information that will be encoded in a database elaborated in Excel that will then be analyzed by the Spss 25.0 program that will provide descriptive results in tables and graphs, as well as inferential results with the use of Spearman's Rho for the corroboration of the validity of the hypotheses and thus be able to provide the conclusions reached by the study.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar cómo el conocimiento se relaciona con las practicas preventivas de lesiones por presión de los profesionales de enfermería en área de hospitalización de medicina. Metodología: Se trabajará con un método hipotético deductivo, con un corte transversal, diseño no experimental de naturaleza cuantitativa. Población: en este caso será conformada por 48 profesionales de enfermería pertenecientes al área de hospitalización, a quienes se le aplicará como técnica la encuesta y la observación basándose en el uso de un cuestionario y una guía de observación. Dichos instrumentos son validados y de alta confiabilidad. Los instrumentos permitirán recolectar información que será codificada en una base de datos elaborada en Excel que será analizada luego por el programa Sps 25.0 que brindará resultados descriptivos en tablas y gráficos, así como resultados inferenciales con el uso de Rho de Spearman para la corroboración de la validez de las hipótesis y con ello poder brindar las con conclusiones a las cuales llega el estudio.
