Work stress and family functionality in the nursing professional of a hospital of Lima province – 2020.

Abstract

Introduction: According to the ILO (International Labour Organization), in recent years, technological advancements have changed the way work is performed, leading to significant health issues for nursing professionals, such as work-related stress, which in turn affects family relationships. Objective: To determine the relationship between work-related stress and family functionality among nursing professionals in a hospital in Lima Provinces - 2020. Methodology: A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study will be conducted. The study population will consist of 118 professionals, all nurses working at the hospital. The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire will be used as an instrument to measure work-related stress and its 3 dimensions: Emotional Exhaustion, Personal Accomplishment, and Depersonalization. The family functionality will be assessed using the APGAR Family questionnaire, covering its 5 dimensions: Adaptation, Participation, Satisfaction, Affection, and Resources. The data collected will be tabulated and statistically processed using the SPSS 25.0 statistical software and Excel.

Introducción: Según la OIT (Organización Internacional del Trabajo), en los ultimo años de acuerdo a los avances tecnológicos han cambiado la forma de trabajo generando este un gran problema para la salud en el profesional de enfermería como el estrés Laboral y a su vez afectando la relación familiar. Objetivó: Determinar la relación entre el estrés laboral y la funcionalidad familiar en los profesionales de enfermería de un Hospital de Lima Provincias -2020. Metodología: Se realizará un estudio de tipo descriptivo, no experimental, transversal. La población del estudio estará conformada por 118 profesionales consideradas todas las enfermeras trabajan en el Hospital, se le aplicara como instrumento el cuestionario de Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) para la variable de Estrés Laboral y su 3 dimensión: Agotamiento Emocional. Realización personal, Despersonalización y El APGAR familiar para valorar la funcionalidad familiar y su 5 dimensión: Adaptación, Participación, Ganancia, Afecto y Recursos. Los datos obtenidos serán tabulados y procesados estadísticamente, aplicando el paquete estadístico SPSS 25.0, y Excel.
