Satisfaction level in nursing care of thorax surgery patients at a lima hospital 2020.

Abstract

The present study, "Level of satisfaction in nursing care for thoracic surgery patients at a hospital in Lima, 2020," aimed to identify the level of satisfaction in nursing care for thoracic surgery patients. This work was descriptive in scope, an applied research type, with a non-experimental methodological design, cross-sectional, and quantitative approach. The "Patient Satisfaction Instrument (PSI)" was used as the tool, and the questionnaire was based on the Likert scale with 23 questions. The sample considered for the study consisted of 70 patients over 18 years of age who were hospitalized in the thoracic surgery area of a hospital in Lima in 2020.

El presente estudio de Nivel de satisfacción en el cuidado enfermero de los pacientes de cirugía de tórax de un hospital de lima 2020, tuvo como objetivo: identificar el nivel de satisfacción en el cuidado enfermero de los pacientes de cirugía de tórax. Este trabajo fue de alcance descriptivo, tipo de investigación aplicada, diseño metodológico no experimental, corte transversal, enfoque cuantitativo, se utilizó como instrumento “patient satisfaction instrument (psi)” el cuestionario está basado en la escala Likert con 23 preguntas. La muestra considerada para el estudio estará conformada por 70 pacientes mayores de 18 años que se encuentran hospitalizados en área de cirugía de tórax de un hospital de lima en el 2020.
