Humanized care of the nursing professional and satisfaction of hospitalized patients in the ICU of the Casimiro Ulloa Hospital ‐ Lima, 2022

Abstract

A key determinant of the quality of hospital treatment is the degree of satisfaction of critically ill patients with the nursing care they receive. Patients admitted to intensive care units (ICU) consider nursing care to be adequate when it is humanistic and scientific, provided systematically and focused on ensuring the safety, well-being and confidence of the patients. Due to this, the present work has as OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between humanized care of the nursing professional and the satisfaction of hospitalized patients in the ICU of the Casimiro Ulloa-Lima Hospital, 2022. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study is correlational; it aims to measure the relationship between variables without manipulating the variable. Non-probabilistic convenience sampling was used, the sample consisted of 80 patients. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was two questionnaires for both variables. The inferential statistics will allow hypothesis testing to determine if there is a relationship between the variables, the Spearman's Rho nonparametric test will be used, the data collected through the application of the appropriate instruments will be transferred to a table prepared in Excel 2021 and from there transferred to SPSS vs. 27.

El presente trabajo tiene como OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación entre cuidado humanizado del profesional de enfermería y la satisfacción de pacientes hospitalizados en la UCI del Hospital Casimiro Ulloa‐Lima, 2022. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: El estudio es correlacional, pretende medir la relación entre las variables sin manipular la variable. Se utilizó el muestreo no probabilístico a conveniencia, la muestra fueron 80 pacientes, La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y de instrumento dos cuestionarios para ambas variables. La estadística inferencial permitirá la comprobación de hipótesis para determinar si existe relación entre las variables, se utilizará la prueba no paramétrica Rho de Spearman
