Humanized nursing care and its relationship with patient satisfaction post-surgery at the National Hospital Dos de Mayo, Lima, 2024

Abstract

Objective: To identify the relationship between humanized nursing care and patient satisfaction after surgery at the Surgical Center of the National Hospital Dos de Mayo in Lima in 2024. Methodology: The research will be quantitative and will employ the hypothetical-deductive method. The type of research will be applied, the design will be non-experimental, the approach will be cross-sectional, and the level will be correlational. Regarding the population, 180 post-operative patients from the surgical center of the Dos de Mayo Hospital in Lima, Peru, will be considered. The survey technique will be used, and an instrument with a questionnaire will be applied to measure the variables, specifically: the Humanized Nursing Care Questionnaire (PCHE III), which has a reliability coefficient of 0.88 (Cronbach's alpha). The results will be tabulated, and the necessary statistics will be interpreted using tables and graphs as appropriate. Finally, the degree of relationship between the two variables will be evaluated using Spearman's correlation coefficient according to the specified objective.

Objetivo: Identificar la relación que existe entre el cuidado enfermera humanizado y la satisfacción del paciente post operado del Centro Quirúrgico del Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo en Lima en el 2024. Metodología: La investigación será cuantitativa y se empleará el método hipotético – deductivo, el tipo de investigación será aplicada, el diseño será no experimental, el corte será transversal y el nivel correlacional. En cuanto a la población, se tomará en cuanta a 180 pacientes post operados del centro quirúrgico del Hospital Dos de Mayo de Lima, Perú. Se empleará la técnica de encuesta y se aplicará un instrumento con un cuestionario para medir las variables, a saber: el cuestionario de Cuidado enfermero Humanizado PCHE III cuenta con un coeficiente de confiabilidad 0.88 de Alfa de Cronbach; los resultados se tabularán y las estadísticas necesarias y se interpretarán utilizando tablas y gráficos según corresponda. Finalmente se evaluará el grado de relación entre ambas variables mediante el coeficiente de Spearman según el objetivo especificado.
