Motivation and job satisfaction of the nursing professional in the pediatrics, oncohematology and pediatric ICU services of the Carlos Alberto Seguín Escobedo National Hospital, Arequipa, 2022

Abstract

To determine how motivation is related to the job satisfaction of the Nursing professional, the population will consist of 80 nursing professionals, who work in the Pediatrics, Oncohematology and Pediatric ICU Service of the Carlos Alberto Seguín Escobedo National Hospital. Sample: the total population, Methodological Design: The type of research will be applied. Non-experimental, observational, descriptive, correlational, transversal and prospective design. Instruments: To evaluate the “Motivation” variable, the “Steers R. and Braunstein D Motivation Scale” questionnaire will be used, reliable through Crombach's Alpha: achievement motivation, a value of 0.79; power motivation 0.75 and affiliation motivation, 0.81 and; To evaluate the “Satisfaction” variable, the “Job Satisfaction Scale” questionnaire will be applied, prepared by the author Sonia Palma Carrillo, reliable through Crombach's Alpha with an index of 0.90. The data collection technique will be the survey. Statistical processing and data analysis: it will be carried out using descriptive techniques and frequencies expressed in percentages, the statistical analysis will be through parametric statistical tests (Pearson Correlation).

Determinar de qué manera la motivación se relaciona con la satisfacción laboral del profesional de Enfermería, la población estará constituida por 80 profesionales de enfermería, que trabajan en el Servicio de Pediatría, Oncohematología y UCI Pediátrica del Hospital Nacional Carlos Alberto Seguín Escobedo. Muestra: el total de la población, Diseño Metodológico: El tipo de investigación será aplicada. Diseño no experimental, observacional, descriptivo, correlacional, transversal y prospectivo. Instrumentos: Para evaluar la variable “Motivación” se utilizará el cuestionario “Escala de Motivación de Steers R. y Braunstein D”, confiable mediante Alpha de Crombach: motivación de logro, un valor de 0,79; motivación de poder 0,75 y motivación de afiliación, 0,81 y; para evaluar la variable “Satisfacción” se aplicará el cuestionario “Escala de satisfacción laboral”, elaborado por la autora Sonia Palma Carrillo, confiable mediante Alpha de Crombach con índice de 0.90. La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de datos: se realizará mediante técnicas descriptivas y frecuencias expresadas en porcentajes, el análisis estadístico será a través de pruebas estadísticas paramétricas (Correlación de Pearson).
