Effectiveness of the warming system for managing hypothermia during the perioperative period

Abstract

Objective: Analyze and systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the warming system for the management of hypothermia in the perioperative period. Materials and Methods: Quantitative type and a systematic review by study design. The population consisted of 35 articles from the bibliographic review and the sample of 10 scientific articles published in scientific databases, the search instrument Database: Scielo , Lilacs, Cochrane Library, PubMed, British Medical Journal, Medline, Lancet, Wiley Online Library, Lipecs, Plus, ElSevier. GRADE system that is validated with the quality of evidence and recommended strength, we have 100% high and strong Results: The articles, 100%; 10% correspond to Chile, 20% to the United States, 10% to Brazil, 10% to England, 20% to Australia, 10% to South Korea, 20% to the United Kingdom; In relation to the type, it is 100% quantitative and the study designs, 50% correspond to a systematic review, 40% to clinical trials, 10 meta-analysis. Conclusions: 100% of the articles studied have demonstrated the effectiveness of the warming system for the management of hypothermia in the perioperative period.

Materiales y Métodos: Tipo cuantitativo y por diseño de estudio una revisión sistemática, La población estuvo constituida por 35 artículos por la revisión bibliográfica y la muestra de 10 artículos científicos publicados en las bases de datos científicos, el instrumento de búsqueda Base de datos: Scielo, Lilacs, Cochrane Library, PubMed, British Medical Journal, Medline, Lancet, Wiley Online Library, Lipecs, Plus, ElSevier. Sistema GRADE que se valida con la calidad de la evidencia y fuerza recomendada tenemos el 100% alta y fuerte Resultados: Los artículos, del 100%; el 10% corresponden a Chile, 20% a Estados Unidos, 10% a Brasil, 10% a Inglaterra, 20% a Australia, 10% a Corea del Sur, 20% a Reino Unido; en relación al tipo es 100% cuantitativo y los diseños de estudios el 50% corresponde a revisión sistemática, 40% a ensayo clínicos, 10 metánalisis. Conclusiones: El 100% de los artículos estudiados, ha demostrado la eficacia del sistema de calentamiento para el manejo de la hipotermia en el periodo perioperatorio.
