Workload and stress level in the nursing staff of the emergency service of a Huacho Hospital, 2023

Abstract

The research will be developed with the objective of determining the relationship between workload and stress level in the nursing staff of the emergency department of a hospital in Huacho, 2023. The study will be conducted under the hypothetical-deductive method, cross-sectional, quantitative approach, non-experimental design and correlational scope. The population will be 80 nursing professionals and the sample will be a census. The survey technique will be used and as an instrument the Workload Questionnaire carried out in Peru by Regalado, where the KR-20 was applied, and the Condezo Nursing Stress Scale, which was applied by Cron Bach Alpha, which have validity and reliability of the authors.Data processing and analysis will be performed in the SPSS version 27 program, where descriptive analysis will be carried out by means of tables and figures, while inferential analysis will be performed by means of Spearman's Rho test or the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test.

La investigación se desarrollará con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre la carga laboral y nivel estrés en el personal de enfermería del servicio de emergencia de un hospital de Huacho, 2023. El estudio se realizará bajo el método hipotético – deductivo, de tipo transversal, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y alcance correlacional. La población será de 80 profesionales de enfermería y la muestra censal. Se usará la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento el Cuestionario de Carga Laboral realizado en el Perú por Regalado donde aplicó KR- 20 y la Escala de estrés de enfermería de Condezo que aplico Alfa de Cronbach, los cuales cuentan con validez y confiabilidad de los autores. El procesamiento y análisis de los datos se realizará en el programa SPSS versión 27, donde se desarrollará el análisis descriptivo mediante tablea y figuras, mientras que análisis inferencial se realizará por medio de la prueba Rho de Spearman o la prueba de Kolmogórov-Smirnov.
