Overload and stress of the caregiver of the patient with schizophrenia attending a hospital in Trujillo 2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between overload and stress of the caregiver of a patient with schizophrenia who attends a Hospital in Trujillo, 2022. Regarding the Materials and Methodology: Quantitative approach, Observational design, the type being descriptive and correlational in addition to having a cross-sectional nature. There were 80 caregivers who came to an outpatient consultation for Psychiatry at a health center in Trujillo who were members of the research population. With respect to the evaluation of the level of overload, the Zarit Test developed by S. H. Zarit et al. will be applied. of adequate validity, 0.89 and a reliability of 0.79 measured by Cronbach's Alpha. Regarding the evaluation of the level of stress in caregivers, the Caregiver Depression Test developed by Maslash and Jackson will be applied with a validity value of 0.89 and a reliability value of 0.90. In this sense, the instruments will be applied in person, after the administration of informed consent. Presenting a descriptive and correlational statistical analysis.

Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación entre la sobrecarga y estrés del cuidador del paciente con esquizofrenia que acude a un Hospital de Trujillo,2022. Con respecto a los Materiales y la Metodología: De enfoque cuantitativo, diseño Observacional, siendo el tipo de índole descriptivo y correlacional además de tener un de corte transversal. Fueron 80 cuidadores que llegan a una consulta externa para Psiquiatría de un centro de salud concerniente a Trujillo los que fueron integrantes de la población de indagación. Con respecto a la evaluación del nivel de sobrecarga se aplicará el Test de Zarit elaborado S. H. Zarit y cols. de validez adecuada, 0.89 y una confiabilidad de 0.79 medida por Alfa de Cronbach. Con respecto a la evaluación del nivel de estrés en cuidadores, se aplicará el Test de Depresión en cuidadores elaborado por Maslash y Jackson con un valor de 0.89 en la validez y un valor de fiabilidad de 0.90. En tal sentido, los instrumentos serán aplicados de manera presencial, previa administración del consentimiento informado. Presentando un análisis de estadística de tipo descriptivo como correlacional.
