Level of knowledge and practice of the nursing staff in the kangaroo method, Hospital Maternal Infantil, Huancayo 2023

Abstract

Introduction: Today, there is great concern about nursing techniques that can be applied in favor of the health of the newborn and for this the training of the nurse is essential, among which is the kangaroo method as a methodology that has helped to save many lives of babies and this will be the development of this research. Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice of nursing staff in the kangaroo method, Maternal and Child Hospital, Huancayo, 2023. Method: The quantitative approach will be applied, with applied and correlational types, considering for this This study as a population of 93 nursing professionals, applying the survey and observation as a technique, and also the questionnaire on the knowledge of the kangaroo method and the observation guide on the kangaroo method will be used, which will then process the information through the statistical program SPSS IBM version 26.0 that will allow to obtain the tabulation and processing of the data and in the same way the inferential analysis will be carried out through the normality test and the Spearman coefficient to define in this way the link between the variables studied.

Introducción: Hoy en día, existe una gran preocupación por las técnicas de enfermera que pueden ser aplicada en pro de la salud del recién nacido y para esto es fundamental la formación del enfermero, entre ellos está el método canguro como una metodología que ha ayudado a salvar muchas vidas de bebes y sobre esto será el desarrollo de esta investigación. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y práctica del personal de enfermería en el método de canguro, Hospital Materno Infantil, Huancayo, 2023. Método: Se estará aplicando el enfoque cuantitativo, con tipo de aplicada y correlacional, considerando para este este estudio como población a 93 profesionales de enfermería, aplicando como técnica la encuesta y la observación, y asimismo se le estará empleando el cuestionario sobre los conocimientos del método canguro y la guía de observación sobre el método canguro, que luego se procesara la información mediante el prográmame estadístico SPSS IBM versión 26.0 que permitirá obtener la tabulación y traficación de los datos y de igual manera se llevara a cabo el análisis inferencial a través de la prueba de normalidad y el coeficiente de Spearman para definir de esta manera la vinculación entre las variables estudiadas
