Level of knowledge about anemia and dietary practices in mothers of children under 5 years of age from the health center of the Victoria Lima district, 2022

Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the level of knowledge about anemia and feeding practices in mothers of children under 5 years of age at the Victoria 2022 district health center. For which a quantitative, descriptive, cutting-edge research approach was developed. cross-sectional, was applied in a population of 120 mothers, 80 were selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The technique used was the survey and documentary review, of which a questionnaire and a data collection sheet were carried out, these were validated through expert judgment and reliabilities, Kuder Richardson 20 coefficient and Cronbach's Alpha were applied. The instruments that will be used to measure the variables will be the questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge of anemia, which has been designed by researchers Bernuy J., Cifuentes Y. and Rojas L. from the Cayetano Heredia University and for dietary practices to prevent anemia. It will be the questionnaire that has been designed by Revilla, E from the Cesar Vallejo University. The data will be processed in a SPSS-25 program database that will be represented in tables and graphs that will allow the results to be detailed for easy interpretation.

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimientos sobre la anemia y las prácticas alimentarias en madres de niños menores de 5 años del centro de salud del distrito de la victoria 2022. Para lo cual se desarrolló una investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, corte trasversal, fue aplicada en una población de 120 madres, se seleccionaron a 80 mediante un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y la revisión documental, de las cuales se realizó un cuestionario y una ficha de recolección de datos, estos fueron validados mediante juicio de expertos y confiabilidades, se aplicó coeficiente kuder Richardson 20 y Alfa de Cronbach. Los instrumentos que usarán para medir las variables serán el cuestionario para medir el nivel de conocimiento de la anemia ha sido diseñado por los investigadores Bernuy J., Cifuentes Y. y Rojas L. de la Universidad Cayetano Heredia y para prácticas alimenticias para prevenir la anemia será el cuestionario que ha sido diseñado por Revilla, E de la Universidad Cesar Vallejo. Los datos serán procesados en una base de datos del programa SPSS-25 que se representarán en tablas y gráficas que permitirán detallar los resultados para una interpretación fácil.
