Burnout syndrome and work performance of the nursing staff of the regional hospital - Huánuco, 2023

Abstract

The objective of this research is to: Determine how burnout syndrome is related to the work performance of the nursing staff of the Hermilio Valdizán Medrano Hospital - Huánuco, 2023. The methodology: methodologically the deductive method is used, non-experimental design, applied type, descriptive level and quantitative approach; The sample is made up of 80 nurses. The survey will be used as a technique and there are two structured questionnaires as instruments according to the indicators corresponding to each dimension. The first questionnaire measures the level of burnout syndrome and the second questionnaire measures job performance, which have adequate validation, in terms of reliability, it was found using Cronbach's alpha where the first instrument had a value of 0.878 and the second instrument had a value of 0.882. To collect data, each participant will have 15 minutes to answer the questions. Graphs and tables will be used for analysis and interpretation using frequencies and percentages. Also, to evaluate the proposed hypotheses, the Rho Spearman correlation was used as an estimation measure, applying a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 5%. This evaluation will be carried out by analyzing a contingency table that involves both variables.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo: Determinar cómo se relaciona el síndrome de burnout y el desempeño laboral del personal de enfermería del Hospital Hermilio Valdizán Medrano - Huánuco, 2023. La metodología: metodológicamente se emplea el método deductivo, diseño no experimental, de tipo aplicada, nivel descriptivo y de enfoque cuantitativo; la muestra está conformada por 80 enfermeros, como técnica se usará la encuesta y como instrumentos se tienen dos cuestionarios estructurados de acuerdo a los indicadores correspondientes a cada dimensión, el primero cuestionario mide el nivel del síndrome de burnout y el segundo cuestionario mide el desempeño laboral, las cuales cuentan con la validación adecuada, en cuanto a la confiabilidad fue hallada mediante el alfa de Cronbach donde el primer instrumento tuvo un valor de 0,878 y el segundo instrumento tuvo un valor de 0,882. Para recolectar datos cada participante tendrá 15 minutos para responder las preguntas, para el análisis e interpretación se usarán gráficos y tablas mediante las frecuencias y porcentajes. También, para evaluar las hipótesis planteadas, se usó como medida de estimación la correlación de Rho Spearman, aplicando un nivel de confianza del 95% y un margen de error del 5%. Esta evaluación se llevará a cabo mediante el análisis de una tabla de contingencia que involucra ambas variables.
