Quality of care and satisfaction of relatives of patients in the intensive care unit of the Barranca-Cajatambo 2022 hospital

Abstract

The quality of nursing care is when the nursing staff responds to the expectations and needs of the user and the family, when they go to their respective health establishments. Whose objective is “To determine the relationship between the quality of care and satisfaction of the relatives of the patients in the intensive care unit of the Barranca- Cajatambo Hospital, 2022” The method used is hypothetical- deductive, quantitative with respect t the approach, applied research type, not experimental cross- sectional- correlational with respect to the design. We Will have 50 relatives who Will be the study population, of ICU patients, the sample is census, where 2 instruments Will be applied to measure the quality of care the questionnaire consists of 14 items, and for satisfaction it consists of 10 items, both questionnaires validated with reliability for the variable “quiality of nursing care” (KR-20=0.88) and for the variable “family satisfaction” (KR-20=0,82).

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la calidad de atención y satisfacción de los familiares de los pacientes en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Barranca-Cajatambo, 2022. Material y métodos: El método empleado es hipotético, deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo de investigación aplicada, con un diseño no experimental de corte transversal- correlacional. Contaremos con 50 familiares que será la población de estudio, de los pacientes de UCI; la muestra es censal, donde se aplicará 2 instrumentos para medir la calidad de atención, el cuestionario consta de 14 ítems; y para la satisfacción consta de 10 ítems, ambos cuestionarios validados con una confiabilidad para la variable “calidad de atención de enfermería” (KR-20 = 0,88) y para la variable “satisfacción de los familiares” (KR-20=0,82).
