Nutritional status of patients diagnosed with gallstones in the surgery service of the low complexity hospital in Lima Este, Vitarte. April 2018 April 2019.

Abstract

The objective of this work has been to know the nutritional status of patients with a diagnosis of Vesicular Lithiasis, confined in the general surgery service of the low complexity hospital of Lima Este, Vitarte in the period April 2018 - April 2019. 1,393 histories were reviewed. clinics corresponding to the patients who entered the aforementioned service, with 385 people diagnosed with Gallstones; according to the stated objectives, which are of first order; to know the number of patients diagnosed with obesity and overweight who undergo surgery for gallstones and the prevalence between men and women. A descriptive cross-sectional, retrospective study was carried out and once the analysis of the results of the clinical records was carried out, the following conclusions were reached: Gallbladder Lithiasis remained with a higher prevalence in the female sex with a total of 320 patients, represented in 83% of the sample, compared to 17% of the male sex (65 people). It was determined that 67% of the sample were adults (259 people), followed by a young adult population represented in a 20%, that is, 75 patients. Finally, obesity and overweight was a common determinant in the majority of the patients in the study (44%), representing a total of 168 people.

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo describir la labor asistencial por el nutricionista durante la atención de pacientes hospitalizados en un hospital en Tacna durante el año 2018. Este estudio es de tipo descriptivo y longitudinal. Se incluyeron a los pacientes de toda edad, utilizando la información recolectada por el servicio de nutricionistas del hospital. En total se ejecutaron 183,834 actividades entre tamizaje, anamnesis, evaluación antropométrica, cálculo de requerimientos, prescripción dietética, monitoreo nutricional, cantidad de sondas nasogástricas, plan nutricional de alta, evaluación nutricional normal y evaluación nutricional por malnutrición. Con respecto al estado nutricional de los pacientes atendidos (n=4840) en todo el año, de los cuales solo 1887 tuvieron el diagnóstico normal, los pacientes con sobrepeso y obesidad suman 2588, solo 32 pacientes presentan bajo peso y 18 desnutridos. Se recomienda continuar con el monitoreo de las actividades realizadas por el servicio de nutrición, esa información debe ser contrastada con otros estudios para comparar y con la satisfacción del paciente.
