Risk factors and their relationship with the presence of pressure injuries in patients in the intensive care unit of a social security hospital, Lima - 2024

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between risk factors and the presence of pressure injuries in patients in the ICU of a social security hospital. Methodically it was hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, correlative and non-experimental. The population universe is made up of 50 patients, the technique used will be observation through a checklist for both variables which were adapted by Villanueva for the target group. In the first instrument on risk factors, reliability was by KR20, obtaining a value of 0.844, likewise the second instrument on the presence of pressure injuries, KR 20, obtained a value of 0.850. The data collected will be processed in SPSS Vs 25 and the hypothesis will be tested using the Spearman correlation coefficient test given the nature of the variables that are qualitative.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre los factores de riesgos y la presencia de lesiones por presión en pacientes en UCI de un hospital del seguro social. Metódicamente fue hipotético-deductivo, cuantitativo, correlativo y no experimental. El universo poblacional está constituido por 50 pacientes, la técnica utilizada será la observación por intermedio de una lista de cotejo para ambas variables las cuales fueron adaptadas por Villanueva para el grupo objetivo. En el primer instrumento sobre los factores de riesgo, la confiabilidad fue por KR20, obteniendo un valor de 0,844, asimismo el segundo instrumento sobre la presencia de lesiones por presión el KR 20, obtuvo un valor de 0,850. Los datos recolectados serán procesados en SPSS Vs 25 y la hipótesis se probará usando la prueba de coeficiente de correlación de Spearman dado la naturaleza de las variables que son cualitativas.
