Level of knowledge and its relationship with the practice of occupational risks in nursing personnel who work in the surgical center of the Carlos Alberto Seguin Escobedo National Hospital Arequipa, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and the practice of occupational risks in nursing personnel who work at the Surgical Center of the Carlos Alberto Seguin Escobedo National Hospital Arequipa 2023. Therefore, work will be done using the hypothetical deductive method, with the quantitative approach of applied, correlational type, with a sample of 80 people including nurses and nursing technicians who work in the surgical center area of the Carlos Alberto Seguin Escobedo National Hospital during the third quarter of 2023, under the evaluation of two instruments, a questionnaire for knowledge and an observation guide for occupational risk practice, both instruments validated with a high reliability of 0.89 and the reliability of the second tool is 0.90, it is concluded that both are useful for this study. They are very reliable. After the application of the instruments with prior authorization from the corresponding authorities for 20 minutes per participant, a database will be created with the responses and information obtained from the sample in a program called Excel, said database will be processed by the program. Spss 25.0 statistics, providing descriptive statistics in tables and figures that will be interpreted, as well as inferential statistics through the Spearman Rho test that will serve to verify the study hypotheses, with which the conclusions of the case can be issued.

Analizar la relación del nivel de conocimiento con la práctica de los riesgos laborales en personal de enfermería que labora en Centro Quirúrgico del Hospital Nacional Carlos Alberto Seguin Escobedo Arequipa 2023. Por ello se trabajará mediante el método hipotético deductivo, con el enfoque cuantitativo de tipo aplicada, correlacional, con una muestra de 80 personas entre enfermeras y técnicos de enfermería que laboran en el área de centro quirúrgico del Hospital Nacional Carlos Alberto Seguin Escobedo durante el cuarto trimestre del año 2023, bajo la evaluación de dos instrumentos, un cuestionario para el nivel de conocimiento y una guía de observación para la Práctica de riesgos laborales, ambos instrumentos validados con una confiabilidad alta de 0.89 y la confiabilidad de la segunda herramienta es de 0.90, se concluye que ambas son útiles para este estudio. son muy confiables. Luego de la aplicación de los instrumentos previa autorización de los jefes de área correspondientes durante 20 minutos por participante, se elaborará una base de datos con las respuestas e información obtenida de la muestra esto en un programa llamado Excel, dicha base de datos será procesada por el programa estadístico SPSS 25.0, arrojando estadísticos descriptivos en tablas y figuras que será interpretados, al igual que la estadística inferencial a través de la prueba de Rho de Spearman que servirá para comprobar las hipótesis de estudio, con lo cual se podrá emitir las conclusiones del caso.
