Assessment of risk factors of the immediate newborn carried out by nursing, related to Apgar score, in a hospital in Lima-2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine how the assessment of the risk factors of the immediate newborn, carried out by nursing, is related to the Apgar score in a hospital in Lima-2022. Methodology: Non-experimental, cross-sectional, hypothetical-deductive design, with a quantitative approach, applied type. Population: 120 medical records of newborns who must meet the inclusion criteria. Instrument: the data collection sheet, where the information obtained from the assessment of the 4 dimensions will be placed through the responses to the 21 items. Conclusions: the relationship that exists between the assessment of risk factors of the immediate newborn carried out by nursing and the score obtained with the Apgar Test applied to the newborn in one minute and five minutes of extrauterine life will be confirmed or denied.

Objetivo: Determinar cómo se relaciona la valoración de los factores de riesgo del recién nacido inmediato, realizado por enfermería, con la puntuación del Apgar en un hospital de Lima-2022. Metodología: Diseño no experimental, de corte transversal, hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada. Población: 120 historias clínicas de recién nacidos que han de cumplir con los criterios de inclusión. Instrumento: la ficha de recolección de datos, donde se colocará la información obtenida de la valoración de las 4 dimensiones a través de las respuestas a los 21 ítems. Conclusiones: se confirmará o se negará la relación que existe entre la valoración de factores de riesgo del recién nacido inmediato realizado por enfermería y de la puntuación obtenida con el Test de Apgar aplicado al neonato en el minuto y cinco minutos de vida extrauterina.
