Occupational risk in the nursing staff of the SISOL Salud hospital of San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima-2019

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of the research is to determine the presence of Occupational Risk in the nursing staff of the Sisol Salud hospital in San Juan de Lurigancho Lima -2019. Materials and methods: it is a quantitative study, descriptive and cross-sectional. The population consisted of 64 nursing personnel. The data collection instrument used was the questionnaire on occupational risk in the nursing staff of the Sisol Salud hospital in San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima-2019, which is made up of 39 items. Results: Regarding the occupational risk of nursing staff, 40 (62.5%) of the respondents present occupational risk and 24 (37.5%) of the respondents do not present occupational risk. The dimension that presents a higher percentage is the ergonomic risk dimension with 71.9% and a lower percentage is the chemical risk dimension with 48.5%. Conclusions: the predominant occupational risk in nursing staff is if they present risk and much lower, they do not present risk. Regarding the dimensions, the one that presents a higher percentage of occupational risk is ergonomic risk and the one that presents a lower percentage of risk is chemical risk.

Objetivo: La finalidad de la investigación es poder determinar la presencia de Riesgo Laboral en el personal de enfermería del hospital Sisol Salud de San Juan de Lurigancho Lima -2019. Materiales y métodos: es un estudio cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. La población estuvo constituida por 64 personal de enfermería. El instrumento de recolección de datos utilizado fue el cuestionario sobre riesgo laboral en el personal de enfermería del hospital Sisol salud de San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima-2019, el cual está conformado por 39 ítems. Resultados: En cuanto al riesgo laboral del personal de enfermería el 40 (62.5%) de los encuestados presentan riesgo laboral y el 24 (37.5%) de los encuestados no presenta riesgo laboral. La dimensión que presenta un mayor porcentaje es la dimensión riesgo ergonómico con un 71.9% y en un menor porcentaje la dimensión de riesgo químico con un 48.5%. Conclusiones: el riesgo laboral predominante en el personal de enfermería es si presenta riesgo y muy por debajo no presenta riesgo. En cuanto a las dimensiones, la que presenta un mayor porcentaje de riesgo laboral es riesgo ergonómico y la que presenta un menor porcentaje de riesgo es el riesgo químico.
