Relationship between the perception of the quality of care received by nursing and the level of satisfaction of the parents of newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit of a hospital in the mountains of the Junín region 2021

Abstract

Nursing care in the NICU is a reliable challenge due to the various procedurescarried out on the neonate, in different countries there is an interest in collecting theimpression that parents have about the care provided to their children admitted tothe NICU through Satisfaction instruments, this being a primary, reliable and validindicator that is used to evaluate the quality of care and the satisfaction that parentshave. The objective of this research project is to determine the relationship betweenthe perception of the quality of care received by the nursing staff and the level ofsatisfaction of the parents of newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of ahospital in the mountains of the Junín 2021 region. The methodology to be appliedis the hypothetical - deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional design. The populationwill be made up of 60 fathers and mothers of newborns hospitalized during themonths of October and November of the year 2021 in the NICU.

El cuidado de enfermería en la UCIN, es un fidedigno reto debido a los seguidos ydiversos procedimientos realizados al neonato, en diferentes países existe el interésde recoger la impresión que tienen los padres sobre el cuidado que se brinda a sushijos internados en UCIN mediante instrumentos de satisfacción siendo este unindicador primario, confiable y válido que es utilizado para evaluar la calidad delcuidado y la satisfacción que tienen los padres de familia. El presente proyecto deinvestigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre la percepción de lacalidad de atención recibida por enfermería y nivel de satisfacción de los padres deneonatos de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un hospital de lasierra de la región Junín 2021. la metodología que se va a aplicar es el métodohipotético – deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental,descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal. la población será constituida por60 padres y madres de neonatos hospitalizados durante los meses de octubre ynoviembre del año 2021 en la UCIN.
