Knowledge of biosecurity measures and practice in nursing professionals in the emergency service, hospital publico del Callao 2022

Abstract

Introduction: The knowledge of biosecurity measures refers to a set of ideas that are adopted by a person about the set of prevention provisions with the aim of supporting the inspection of some risk factors that may occur in a framework or during the performance of their functions. On this occasion, this study on the knowledge and practice of Nursing professionals is important in order to add ideal and risk-free care, both for health personnel and patients. Objective: To determine the relationship between the knowledge of biosafety measures and the practice of nursing professionals in the emergency service, Hospital Público del Calla 2022. Methods: This study is hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach. The present investigation will be carried out applied type, not experimental. The sample was obtained through inclusion and exclusion methods in order to obtain true and reliable information about the study variables. The population made up of 50 nurses who work in the emergency service in a Hospital in Callao. The technique that will be used for the investigation was the survey, through the application of two duly validated instruments; the first is a questionnaire to measure knowledge of biosafety measures; and the second corresponds to a check list of the practice of biosafety measures for nursing staff.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación del conocimiento de las medidas de bioseguridad y la practica en profesionales de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia, Hospital Público del Calla 2022.Métodos: Este estudio es hipotético-deductivo, bajo el enfoque cuantitativo. La presente investigación se realizará tipo aplicada, no experimental. La muestra será lograda mediante el método de incorporación y separación con el objetivo de lograr el aporte verdadera y constante relacionada a las variables de estudio. La población conformada por 50 enfermeros que labora en el servicio de emergencia en un Hospital del Callao, La técnica que se empleará en este estudio será la encuesta, mediante la utilidad de dos instrumentos respectivamente autentificado, siendo asi un cuestionario para calcular el conocimiento de medidas de bioseguridad; y el segundo retribuye a una lista de cotejo de la práctica de las medidas de bioseguridad del personal de enfermería
