Knowledge about neonatal cardiopulmonary resuscitation and attitudes of the nurse at the national institute of Lima, 2023

Abstract

This research will be carried out in the field of neonatal intensive care, which provides service to neonates who are in a critical situation. However, it has been possible to detect that the nursing professionals who work in this unit still lack the knowledge and attitudes required to attend to each case and avoid complicating the condition of small patients, even leading to the risk of death. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about neonatal cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the Instituto de Lima, 2023. MATERIALS AND METHODS: it will be quantitative, of an applied type, with a descriptive-correlational, non-experimental, and transversal. design. The sample will have 80 nurses. The instruments will be a questionnaire for the variable knowledge and the checklist for attitudes.

Esta investigación se desarrollará en el ámbito de cuidados intensivos neonatales, que brinda servicio a neonatos que se encuentran en situación crítica. Sin embargo, se ha podido detectar que los profesionales de enfermería que laboran en esta unidad aún carecen de los conocimientos y las actitudes que se requieren para atender cada casuística y evitar que se pueda complicar la condición de los pequeños pacientes, conllevando incluso el riesgo de muerte. OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación del conocimiento sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar neonatal y las actitudes de la enfermera en el Instituto Nacional de lima, 2023. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Será cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, con diseño descriptivo-correlacional, no experimental, transversal. La muestra contará con 80 enfermeros. Los instrumentos serán un cuestionario para la variable conocimientos y la lista de cotejo para las actitudes.
