Effectiveness of laparoscopic surgery versus robot- assisted surgery in hysterectomy

Abstract

Objective: To analyze and systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of laparoscopic surgery versus robot-assisted surgery in hysterectomy.

Materials and methods: Quantitative type and systematic review design, with a population of 22 articles, and a sample of 10 articles.

Results: Michele Scandola, in his study, concluded that robot-assisted surgery is more effective, with a shorter operative time compared to conventional laparoscopic surgery. Ahmet Gocmen, in his study, concluded that conventional laparoscopic surgery is more effective due to a shorter operative time and shorter hospital stay.

Conclusions: It was concluded that the effectiveness of laparoscopic surgery was 60%, while robot-assisted surgery accounted for 40%.

Objetivo: Analizar y sistematizar las evidencias sobre la efectividad de la cirugía laparoscópica versus cirugía asistida por robot en histerectomía. Materiales y métodos: tipo cuantitativo y diseño revisión sistematica, población 22 artículos muestra 10 artículos. Resultados: Michele Scandola en su estudio concluyo que la cirugía asistida por robot es más efectiva con un tiempo operatorio inferior a la cirugía laparoscópica convencional y Ahmet Gocmen, en su estudio concluyo que la cirugía laparoscópica convencional es más efectiva por un tiempo operatorio más corto y menor estancia hospitalaria. Conclusiones: se concluye que la efectividad del procedimiento por cirugía laparoscópica fue en un 60% y cirugía robótica representa un 40%.
